前瞻新北•世界菁英─高中生赴美國辛辛那提市短期國際交換學習
106年參與交換學習的學校一共為8所，分別是三所辛辛那提公立學校(CPS)的Walnut Hills High School、Clark Montessori High School、School for Creative and Performing Art；一所Forest Hill學區的Turpin High School；Indian Hill學區的 Indian Hill High School，Milford Exempted Village學區的Milford High school；著名的私立男校 St. Xavier；以及Loveland學區的Loveland High School。
今年各校在安排學生進班交流前，依接待家庭的分配，同樣有為各學生安排學伴(Classroom Ambassador)來引導及協助新北市學生能更快進入學習的狀態，若接待家庭無相同年齡的學伴，則由入校進行交換學習的校方安排學伴。本次活動行前，由帶隊教師協助先與各校活動負責人協調課程安排，讓學生在第一週入班學習的過程中，一邊適應學伴的課表，並配合適性的彈性課程調整，學生可依據自己的興趣或專長選擇幾門適合自己的課程，幫助學生在全美教學的浸潤式學習過程中，能有最大的學習效果與最大的效益產出。

本市23位同學在短期交換學習這三週入住接待家庭，接待家庭也都很用心照料與陪伴這些來自新北市的孩子們，多數家庭也特別為他們安排課後的活動進行體驗，讓學生體驗真實的美式家庭生活與美國文化。以萬聖節的活動為例，許多接待家庭為了讓學生體驗道地的美國萬聖節文活動，會帶著台灣的學生去採買萬聖節造型的裝扮、造訪知名樂園的萬聖節船屋、製作萬聖節南瓜雕刻、參加或自家舉辦萬聖節派對…等精彩活動。

除了入班學習之外，交換學習期間也安排團體活動日，進行文化參訪活動，如：辛辛那提大學( University of Cincinnati)校園的球場、音樂學院以及理工學院…等、辛辛那提藝術博物館 (Cincinnati Art Museum)的導覽及自由中心( Freedom Center)等，各種具歷史背景及文化特色的參訪景點，讓這趟旅程更具教育意義及深度啟發。
